HOME > Koshi an Pan. Many people in the US is still learning the difference between #koshi and #tsubu an pan. Koshi, (the one featured in this photo) is the smooth sweet red bean paste, and Tsubu it’s coarse, with pieces of full beans present in the paste. There’s many more types of “anko” but our favorite ones all come in from #Hokkaido. We find it less sweet, and even the coarse ones are very smooth because its more moist and freshness. Although there’s many good “Anko” across Hokkaido, the most famous one it’s probably from #tokachi. Really beautiful region with lots of good food.
